Arrowsic is a town in Sagadahoc County, Maine, United States. It is part of the Portland-South Portland-Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area. During the French and Indian Wars, Arrowsic was site of a succession of important and embattled colonial settlements. It is a favorite with artists and birdwatchers.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 10.8 square miles (27.9 km2), of which, 7.8 square miles (20.2 km2) of it is land and 3.0 square miles (7.7 km2) of it (27.76%) is water. Arrowsic is on an island of the same name situated between the Kennebec River, Sasanoa River and Back River.
It is crossed by Maine State Route 127. Separated by water, Arrowsic is near the towns of Woolwich to the north, Westport to the east, Georgetown to the southeast, Phippsburg to the southeast, and Bath to the southwest.
