Cool off with a dip in one of our beautiful lakes or canoe down the lazy Saco River. Area mines still offer an exciting experience for the gem and mineral enthusiast and an opportunity to take a piece of Maine with you. Fall brings crisp clear days, spectacular fall foliage, and the renown Fryeburg Fair, and Oxford Fair. The wonderful array of winter activities may take you skiing on one of the area slopes, snowmobiling the miles of snow covered trails or snowshoeing along a quiet path.
